Biomedical & Mechanical Engineer
B.Sc. Biomedical Engineering, Cum Laude — ASU · M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering — UCLA (Expected Dec 2026)
Designing precision mechanical systems at the intersection of biomedical innovation and industrial engineering — from implantable CSF delivery devices to complex powertrain assemblies.
View ProjectsRayan Alam is a mechanical engineering graduate student at UCLA with a Cum Laude undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University. Currently a Research Assistant at UCLA's Bionics Lab, working on medical and wearable robotics with emphasis on biomechanics and human–machine interaction.
His CAD and prototyping work spans implantable biomedical devices, industrial robotics, and automotive assemblies — from concept through real bench-tested prototypes. Research experience spans UCLA, MGH/Harvard Medical School, and ASU's Weaver Lab.
Quick exercises done for practice — no brief, no deadline.
